Though the Bachchans were not around this time but neta turned abhineta Amar Singh’s 55th birthday celebrated in Banaras had a fair share of representation from the B-Town glitterati. Sanjay Dutt, Jaya Prada, Boney Kapoor and Apoorva Lakhia flew down all the way from Mumbai to be part of the do.
Actor Sanjay Dutt displayed all the shades of a neta. Pledging allegiance to his “bhai Amar Singh”, Dutt dispelled any doubts about differences with his bro saying, “Woh bade bhai hain aur mein hamesha unke saath hoon.”
Amar Singh managed to get all the attention, donning a crown made of gold and along with a silver flute presented by his supporters, he played the role of Lord Krishna with elan. A three-tiered cake arranged for him by his supporters from Andhra Pradesh.
